FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Here are just some of the common questions we might get asked when procuring our services. Feel free to contact us with any further queries.
Do I need to have a credit account with yourselves or can general public just turn up?
No you don’t need an account, just turn up at our site in Armthorpe and go see the person on the Weighbridge.
What size loads do you deliver in?
We deliver in 20T loads on our 8-wheel tippers but we do offer smaller quantities on the same size lorries but with an extra charge. Please ring us on 01302 831280 to discuss all your options.
What are the size of your lorries?
The width of the body of our lorries is 2.5m and then 3m with the mirrors. Please ensure there is sufficient room for tipping when arranging a delivery.
Do you offer bagged products?
No everything we supply is loose.
How much notice do you require for delivery?
A couple of days’ notice is ideal but we will always try our best to fit you in the next day.
How can I pay?
You can pay by cash/card/bacs.
What are your opening hours? Do you open on weekends?
Our weighbridge is open from 7am-4:30pm Monday to Friday and our office is open till 5pm. I’m afraid, we do not open on the weekend.
Can you tip on my driveway?
Not unless you specifically agree as our lorries weigh around 32 tonnes when fully loaded.
Does your soil have a cert on it?
Yes we have certs on 3 out of 4 of the soils we supply. These are available upon request however we recommend that you take your own sample for testing.
What can I tip at your site or can you dispose of the muck for me?
Acceptable materials are materials such as soil, tarmac and concrete. I’m afraid we cannot accept anything with clay or grass in. For us to remove the waste from your site you must classify your waste. Please call us to discuss.
Our site has certain environmental requirements that we need to adhere to, are any of your materials suitable for this?
Yes, this is something that it is very important to us! Our recycled products conform to the WRAP protocol, but give us a call discuss any specific requirements you have.
What areas do you cover?
We predominately cover the Yorkshire area, particularly South & West Yorkshire but we are always happy to give you a quote on something further afield.
I’m not sure what aggregates I need for my site?
We understand it can be difficult determining the correct material you need at site, especially with the Highway Specification. If there is something you aren’t too sure with, give us a call and one of our experienced Sales Team will be happy to help.
